Provisioning is the automated process of creating user accounts and granting access rights across systems. Deprovisioning is the equally critical process of revoking all access when no longer needed.
⚙️ How Does It Work?
Triggered by IGA workflows (JML events), the system creates accounts in target applications, assigns roles and groups, and sets attributes automatically via SCIM, LDAP, API, or connectors.
📍 Where Is It Used?
Every enterprise — automating what would otherwise be thousands of manual IT tickets annually.
💡 Real-World Example
An employee leaves Friday at 5 PM. Manual process: IT disables the account Monday morning — 60 hours of unnecessary access. Automated: IGA detects the termination at 5:01 PM and disables the account across 40 systems by 5:05 PM.
